My family loves Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. I recently took a family favorite and added a new twist by adding ham to Klosterman White Bread. In case you are not familiar with Klosterman Baking Company, the company was founded over 100 years ago, Klosterman Baking Company has grown to be one of the largest family-owned bakeries in the Midwest. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Klosterman Baking Company provides fresh hearth bread, rolls, and a variety of other bakery items to more than 4,000 restaurants, grocery stores, hospitals, and schools in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Klosterman Baking Company recently announced that they increased the Vitamin D in its 100% Whole Wheat and 12 Grain bread loaves, which hit stores this past March 2013 in the Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, and Northern Kentucky markets. Klosterman Baking Company increased the previous 2% per serving to 10% per serving because 10% is considered a good source of Vitamin D.
This upgrade was implemented after “The FDA amended food additive regulations to allow bakers to significantly increase levels of vitamin D in bread and make ‘High’, ‘Rich in’, or ‘Excellent source’ claim if they use vitamin D2 bakers’ yeast,” said Elaine Watson author of the article “Regulation Change Could Help Turn Bread Into Key Source of Vitamin D.”
This is the softest fresh-tasting bread that I have ever tasted.
You can find Klosterman products at your local grocer and several restaurants.
Head over to their social media outlets to stay up to date on what’s new.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Yum! Grilled ham and cheese is awesome :)… Pretty much an easy and quick meal anytime. A creamy tomato soup would go great with it too.

This looks and sounds so good. Its like a meal in itself. The only thing in it that I know we would eat would be the avocado – we dont eat them. I really like the idea of the different cheeses on them. We often put ham or turkey or bologna in our cheese sandwiches. So many ways to make them. I love mine on rye bread best. thanks for the recipe
