As a mother of 5. Effective time management is essential, however, it is not always easy to come by.
I recently received a product that I feel is a must have for every family. It’s called the Academic Planner A tool for time management by Order Out of Chaos.
Order Out of Chaos was created by Leslie Josel a mom like many of us, whose son was diagnosed with ADHD, Executive Dysfunction and other learning differences. Leslie has appeared on such popular television shows that you are probably familiar with such as TLC’s hit television show, “Hoarding: Buried Alive”, the Cooking Channel’s television special, “Stuffed: Food Hoarders”, “dLife-TV” and the Hallmark Channel’s “The Better Show” as their organizing expert. She is frequently quoted in mainstream news media such as MORE Magazine, Better Homes and Gardens, New York’s Daily News, and much other print media. This lets us know that she knows her stuff.
I have two Adult Children who have been diagnosed with ADHD so I totally understand the importance of the Academic Planner. I have a 10-year-old who uses a planner which is provided by his school however it is not laid out as efficiently as the Academic Planner by Order out of Chaos. To be honest, his teacher only asks that he writes his assignments in the planner. It’s not even dated, in my opinion, he is not learning anything about planning or managing his homework and after-school activities at all. Which even at 10 years old, if he learns this, he will develop life skills that he will never forget.
If your child is like mine. He or she is probably having trouble managing his or her time. My son was taking 2 hours to finish his homework prior to using the planner. He was so all over the place which resulted in him forgetting homework assignments due to poor planning. If you are experiencing any of these. This planner will help your student manage their time and get work done!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I think this is a great way to keep students on track. Eh, who am I kidding it’s something I need to keep me on track. I end up with a million post it notes and nothing actually done.
