Welcome to the Back to School Blast!

Getting your family prepared to head back to school, can be difficult especially after a long, fun-filled summer. Here are a few of our favorite Back to School Tips to help you along the way.

1. Back-to-School Supplies Checklist – Backpack? Check. Pencils? Check. Safety scissors? Not Yet. Use the same checklist each time you head out to grab supplies, to keep track of what you have already purchased and the things you still need to. These are also handy if you have more than one child. Simply print 2, 3, 4 list and add their name to the top.

Here are a few tips to help you get this school year off to a good start.

1.Shop at home first: Before you go out buying everything that is on your children’s list. Look around the house and make sure that you don’t already have the items. I have found folders,pencils etc. from prior years that I didn’t know that we had.

2.Start early Shop online, too: Don’t wait until school starts to think about school clothes and supplies. You can find a lot of deals online, just look and ship.

3.Score savings with coupons: There are coupons everywhere, you just have to look around. Great deals are to be had for the shopper who carries coupons.

4.Ask for price adjustments: Always ask the store manager for a price adjustment, business are hurting for business right now and they would rather you spend your money with them then to go to the other stores.

6.Use your smartphone: If you have a smartphone be sure to have money saving apps like Ibotta  & Cartwheel.
