Here are 6 Tips to Keep Your Kids Safe Online
I use website blocking and give them their own Windows login that I can monitor.

I talk to my kids about never sharing personal information online and to never chat with someone you don’t know
I monitor everything they do, and they are not allowed to go online alone.
Don’t open the front door, don’t leave the yard.

I do not have to deal with that yet but I imagine when little girl gets old enough I will oversee what she is doing and not let her be on the computer unless I am there helping her.
Well, my kids are too little to surf the internet, but we’ve always said that when the time comes, besides setting up filters, we’ll keep the computer in the living room or kitchen so one of us can always be there observing what’s going on.
We have a Windows password that only my husband and I know. As far as Internet goes, they aren’t allowed to “surf” yet, being only 9 and 10 years old. The computer games we have are accessed on the desktop or via CD ROM so the children don’t need to get online.

We are also thinking of installing a filter program for when they are older.

Right now, I do not have kids that surf the net. When my kids are old enough to use the computer, I am going to enable parental control settings and monitor their activity.

I monitor where they go but more importantly we talk about internet safety.I actually have had a friend go in to one of the sites they use with chat and tried to get them to give up info like real name,location,phone number,ect.My kids passed the test and refused to give any info out as well as came to me.

We have child-safe software on the computer, have them use Netflix kids and are usually in the same room interacting with the kids when they are online.

My daughter is 10 and is not allowed on the internet unless it is needed for school. When she does use it she must be at the dinning room table and I sneak a peak every time I walk by. In the next year or so we will have to have a lesson on personal information, strangers, and etc to prep her for web browsing.

We make them sit near us so we can watch them, and they are only aloud thirty minutes a day unless if its for learning or homework.
They are only allowed to go to our approved sites while online and have time limits.
