When my first son was getting his molars in it was nonstop screaming all night long for two nights. I littlerally thought i was going to die and know I was a little crazy for a couple of days.

Mine is not so great. My dad was in a nursing home and had Huntington’s Disease and was not doing so well. I couldn’t sleep but maybe a half an hour at a time!
I wanted to share another sleep deprivation moment. I was working, going to school, and taking care of my 3 kids on my own. It was rough to not sleep much.
Right after my daughter turned one I took on a night job, so I worked all night while she slept than stayed up all day with her. I loved nap time but could have used a good 8 hours instead of the 2-4 I got.

My memories of sleep deprivation are all related to taking care of little babies during the wee hours of the night.
Being awake for 36 hours and in labor wasn’t fun!
During Desert Storm/Desert Shield, I went almost 6 days without sleep, our unit kept moving we were getting bombed, I was so tired!

Ugh. Working late nights, wife works during the day, lo decides to start waking up 3 hours earlier than usual, for the past 3 months. I’m always tired. lol
well i live in florida, and i remember when hurricane opal came about fifteen years ago…i was out of power for two weeks, it was awful, and i remember sleeping about two to three hrs at a time…..without air conditioner, miserable.
Mine was when my boyfriend and i were texting,i fell asleep and he called me 9 minutes later and woke me up and i couldnt go back to sleep and i had to work early the next day

my now 16 year old would not sleep. i can remember sitting in her room with the door closed, my back up against the door (so she couldn’t escape) begging, pleading, threatening, cajoling her to go to sleep! I completed a crochet Blues Clues afghan for her cousin during this time. LOL

My newborn just turned 3 weeks old today and my other children are 2 and 7. About a week ago my 2 year old woke up at 5am, and joyfully jumped into bed with mommy and daddy, after a 4am feeding that I had just finished 🙁 I then had to turn around and get back up (not that I ever was really asleep) and drag my 7 year old out of bed so she can catch the bus for school. We were all a hot cranky mess that morning. Except the baby, he didn’t seem to mind

When I was younger I took a 3rd shift position thinking that it would be great for me because I was a night owl. But little did I know that I would not be able to sleep during the day. After four days of working of a night and no sleep I was so tired I couldn’t see straight but still couldn’t sleep.
Needless to say that job just didn’t work out for me.

My most memorable sleep deprivation story happened after my daughter was born. My husband got plenty of sleep (as most men do) but I was so tired, I made some coffee, poured it into a bottle, dumped a few scoops of sugar in, shook it up and handed it to him!! He thought it was hilarious!
one night our 4 yr old (now 5) kept throwing up in her sleep so we changed clothes and sheets and bathed her like 3 times throughout the night
Waking up for night time feedings, then waking up startled because I was unsure if I put my son back in his bed. I average about 2-3 hours per night those days.

I had a scheduled c-section in the morning and I spent the night before praying for a healthy baby girl since I had a son. God blessed me with a beautiful daughter.

Whenever my cousin spent the weekend as teenagers we never slept or at least tried. Usally after getting the giggles we were worn out and fell asleep.
I had some serious back and leg pains for a while and I wasn’t able to sleep more than 2 hours for about 5 days. UGH. It was horrible.
