If you have a daughter like I do…listen up. I have a 5-year-old who loves reading. We are always on the lookout for good wholesome books that help to develop her passion for reading. That’s what I love the new book The Adventures of Pajama Girl and the Coronation of the cupcake queen.
In case you are not familiar with The Adventures of Pajama Girl, the book was written by Sandra Hagee Parker who is a mom and a practicing attorney. Sandy is also a part of the music ministry at Cornerstone Church where she and her husband are leaders.
This is A cute, illustrated story about a girl’s imagination and her magical pajamas. In this adventure, Ellie’s cupcake pajamas pave the way for her and her Sis to take a journey to a land filled with all kinds of sweet treats. Their journey quickly turns into an adventure to help the Cupcake Queen find the missing sprinkles needed for her coronation ceremony. In searching for the missing sprinkles, Ellie and Sis uncover a life lesson that is important for every child to learn.

My daughter so enjoyed the Pajama girls, she thought the pictures were so funny and cute. I think more than anything because she loves cupcakes and all things pink. I love it because of the message it delivers, the book talks strongly about not stealing and the effects of that behavior. I highly recommend this book for not only little girls but little boys can benefit from it also.
