Summer has almost come to an end and that means the back to school is just around the corner. If you are like me, you are always on the lookout for ways to encourage healthy eating and for my family, that includes lunch box snacks.

My daughter who is 7 years old, is, for the most part, a very healthy eater. Surprisingly she loves salads (with no salad dressing of course) and more vegetables than most children. I am very careful when it comes to checking labels to see exactly how much sugar is in the snacks that we give her, especially when purchasing applesauce and puddings. We received a sampler pack which contained many of our family favorites that included, Creamy Avocado and Pears, Sweet Potato and Apples and my daughters favorite, Blueberry, Banana, and Apples.

I was very impressed and pleased to find out that the company was started by a mom just like me, that was looking for a healthy, fresher alternative for her children. It is so unfortunate that most of the food that we purchase and consume, has been sitting on shelves for long periods of time.
