If you are like most parent’s, the thought of having your child strolling through the neighborhood going door to door trick or treating can be scary. That’s why I am so excited about the I-X Trick or Treat Street. Parent’s no longer have to worry about strangers,unsafe candy or bad weather because all of the Trick or Treating is done indoors.
If you are not familiar with the I-X Trick or Treat Street. It is held in Cleveland, OH at the I-X Center. It usually runs the last 2 weekends in October. This year the dates were October 18 & 19 and October 25 & 26, 2014.
My family had such a fun time. The event is catered to children ages 10 and younger. The best part is that it is safe and not-so-scary (there are lots of Halloween decorations but nothing really scary scary) My children’s favorite part was amusement rides.
I was so impressed because we were able to trick or treat at the 12 creatively themed ‘spooktacular’ candy stations ( bags were provided I must add) and the children were given generous amounts candy.The candy stations empty out into a giant Festival Area with plenty of activities to see and do, including amusement rides like The Yo-Yo, Spider Mania, the Frog Hopper, a super slide, and more! There is also a play area, 3D Mystery Manor, a Halloween-themed house complete with a vortex tunnel! Your little ones can also get A pony ride (additional fee applies). The best part is that cameras are welcome to capture smiles and take photos with the giant festive props throughout the event floor! There was also kid-friendly story-telling with costumed entertainers, magic shows and performances by local dance, singing and martial art groups.
We were so surprised to receive A FREE parents’ ticket to opening day of the 2015 I-X Indoor Amusement Park which is a family favorite! The tickets are valued at $24.00 per ticket.
If you are looking for a safe and festive Halloween event where children and families can enjoy a fun-filled day, all indoors. I-X Trick or Treat Street is the answer.
The I-X Trick or Treat Street is open Saturday, October 18 from 11:00am – 8:00pm; Sunday, October 19 from 11:00am – 7:00pm and again Saturday, October 25 from 11:00am – 8:00pm; and Sunday, October 26 from 11:00am – 7:00pm. Purchase discounted tickets in advance at all Ohio Discount Drug Mart locations for just $11.99 per person or a Family Pumpkin Pack, which includes four tickets and a parking pass, for $44.99. Discount Drug Mart, the Official Discount Drug Store ticketing retail partner of I-X Trick or Treat Street.
Tickets sold online (www.ixtrickortreatstreet.com) and onsite at the I-X Center will be $13.99 for adults and children. Seniors 60 and over can purchase tickets on-site for $9.99. Children two and under are FREE, however if you would like them to participate in trick or treating, a ticket must be purchased.
