If you are looking for a super cute, early reader bible. I highly recommend The Under the Sea Holy Bible, NIrV. This bible is great for children ages 6 to 10. The Bible is also perfect for young readers who have a love for fish because the theme of underwater fun and sparkling fish grace the exterior of this wonderful children’s Bible. The outside is covered in foil and sparkle.
My daughter loves Finding Nemo so as soon as she saw the bible she was so excited and happy. What I love most about this bible is that the interior has color inserts featuring whimsical underwater scenes with themes of God’s care and love for each of us and all of creation.
The bible also has the 10 Commandments, The Lords Prayer the ABC’s of becoming a christian and more. Everything is on a level that the children can understand. The bright colors make it more fun and enjoyable which causes children to want to read their bible.
The bible is in the NIRV which is something I was not familiar with. Although I love the NIV options. This version was a welcomed surprise for my family. In case you are not familiar with this version. The NIrV is for beginning readers, so it has shorter sentences and uses shorter words which are easier to understand. That makes it an excellent Bible for a young child who is anxious to read on their own.
I you are looking for a bible for young readers. I highly recommend the Under The Sea Holy Bible.
